Size
The right size is the cornerstone of good style. However, we often think about properly fitting clothing especially when it comes to clothing such as a suit or shirt. But we pay less attention to choosing the right size for such an everyday item of clothing as a T-shirt.
A perfectly fitting t-shirt highlights the parts of your body you're proud of without drawing attention to areas with imperfections.
Body shape
Before trying one on, look in the mirror at your bare torso and ask yourself what your greatest asset is.
If you are not completely sure of your body - a feeling that affects many of us - choose a classic cut. Do not oversize in an attempt to cover up imperfections. It's also not appropriate to choose a smaller size in an attempt to exaggerate your assets, no matter how impressive they may be :)
T-shirt length
A classic T-shirt should end at the top of the hips. This will ensure that you can raise your arms without exposing your lower torso.
Length of the sleeve
Short sleeves should not cover more than the upper half of your arms and should fit closely. Long sleeves should end at the wrist.
Shoulders
Even in an oversized or elongated style, the shoulder seams should ideally end at the point where the curve of your shoulder ends.
T-shirt cut
A perfectly fitting t-shirt does not restrict you in any way, allows you to move comfortably and should never feel too tight in it (with the exception of sports t-shirts).
How to measure yourself correctly so that the T-shirt fits you perfectly can be found in our size advisors .
