Laundry signs and symbols

Here you will find an explanation of the maintenance symbols that can be found on the label on the back of most products.

	Wash in hot water (normal procedure): Materials such as cotton or linen, white, suitable for boiling, colored or printed clothes. Fill the drum completely for a good washing effect. Pre-treat dried spots.
	60°C colored laundry (normal procedure): Colored laundry that cannot be washed in hot water, e.g. made of cotton, modal, polyester and directional materials.
	60°C “Easy care” gentle process: Reduce the amount of laundry in the drum. The drum should be filled no more than halfway. Choose the pre-wash only if the textiles are heavily soiled. Choose a program without spinning, or spin only for a short time to avoid creasing the laundry.
	40°C colored laundry (normal procedure): Washing procedure for e.g. textiles of darker colors made of e.g. cotton, polyester, mixed materials.
	40° C "Easy care" gentle procedure: Delicate laundry, made of e.g. modal, viscose, synthetic fibers (acrylic, polyester and polyamide). Cut your laundry load in half. Choose the pre-wash only if the textiles are heavily soiled. Choose a program without spinning or spin only for a short time to avoid creasing the laundry.
	40°C very gentle procedure (washing cycle for wool): For products made of wool, for example, with the possibility of washing in a washing machine. This wash cycle provides maintenance with greatly reduced mechanical stress on the laundry. Significantly reduce the amount of laundry. The drum should be filled no more than a third.
	30°C colored laundry (normal procedure): Washing procedure for e.g. textiles of darker colors made of e.g. cotton, polyester, mixed materials.
